eLene4Life-Learning and Interacting to Foster Employability

eLene4Life is an Erasmus+ KA2 project (2018-2021) supporting curriculum innovation in higher education through the development of active learning approaches for soft skills, with the ultimate aim of improving students' employability.

The main objectives of eLene4Life are to:

  • develop new innovative curricula and educational methods integrating active learning, at the same time addressing commonly encountered barriers such as large class sizes and physical spaces.

  • improve the relevance of HE curricula in a VUCA (Volatile, Uncertain, Complex, Ambiguous) world, through a focus on soft skills.

The ambition of the project:
eLene4life will involve more than 2,500 participants from the higher education and business sectors. Teachers will receive support in pedagogical innovation and the transformation of teaching practices, with the ultimate goal of improving the learning experience of students. 12 teachers and 1,200 students will be involved in piloting these approaches, and another 500 teachers will participate in broader professional development activities. Trainers, human resources managers and private sector recruiters will be involved throughout the project, contributing to the prospective analysis phase and participating in a cross-sectoral community of practice that is expected to have about 500 members from here until the end of the project.
