Either in person or online, we propose both traineeships (for graduates or students about to graduate) and internships (for students still enrolled in their university) in two of our lines of work: Projects and Communication.

OPERATIONS & PROJETS ASSISTANT

Operations & Project assistant

You will work for a European non-profit association in the field of education and will have a taste of international work to launch your career! From our side, we are keen to find a proactive, resourceful, and hard-working colleague to help us offer great initiatives and activities to young people and student affairs professionals.

As part of our team, you will be at the forefront of international education for students, you will learn how to network with European colleges, universities, and companies. And the best part? You will take part in and organize innovative learning experiences for students both online and around Europe.

OVERVIEW:

  • Position: Operations  & Projects Assistant

  • Reports to: Operations Coordinator 

  • Availability: Full-time from Mon-Fri (38hrs/week) 

  • Location: In-person, in Brussels

  • Duration: 3 months, with a possibility of extension to 6-12 months

  • Reimbursement for the first 3 months:

    • For Spanish candidates: PICE grant of the Spanish Chamber of Commerce (please check conditions to see if you qualify)

    • For other candidates: Erasmus+ Traineeship 

    • After 3 months, reimbursement is between 800-1.200€/month

  • Start date: As soon as possible

  • Office attire: Smart business

WHAT WILL THIS POSITION ENTAIL? :

The main tasks and responsibilities of the Operations and Projects Assistant will include:

Assistance with Operations (ca. 60% of workload):

  • Maintaining accounting records and reconciled bank accounts;

  • Supporting the financial management of the organization;

  • Assist in team and partner meetings - send calendar invites, prepare agendas or presentations, take minutes/actions, keep track of progress and follow up;

  • Manage invoices and payments, etc.;

 

Assistance with Project financial management (ca. 40% of workload):

  • Take part in the organization of both international and local student activities;

  • Assist on project financial management, including budgeting, monitoring, and reporting;

  • Assist staff in preparing and reviewing proposed agreements/ contracts with external parties;

  • Maintain project financial information in EucA systems. 

CANDIDATES' PROFILE:

  • Bachelor or Master student or a recent graduate in Economics, Business Administration, Finances, Marketing, or related; 

  • Proficiency in English for oral and written interactions (min. B2 English);

  • Knowledge of Excel;

  • Curiosity, ability to learn fast and deliver results;

  • Strong organizational and time management skills;

  • Detail-oriented, proactivity, good team spirit.

Project Assistant Active Citizenship

Learn and experience all about the international work of a European NGO in the field of Education! Follow the work of EU institutions, network with peer education associations, manage our contacts with our members and students from all over Europe, assist in writing project proposals and managing EU projects, and of course, participate in and organise new learning experiences for students!

  • Maintain engagement with members of the network and their students.

Join the EucA Communications team! You will work closely with the Communications Director to implement the corporate and projects-related communications. In this role you will have the opportunity to help develop the Communications strategy through different channels (Newsletter, Social Media, Website, etc), and to bring forward the key messages to our target audience. We offer a position as a Digital Communications Assistant to join our Communication Team in Brussels to strengthen the Association’s online presence. He/she will implement with his/her expertise the corporate and projects-related digital communications strategy.

TASKS

 General support to the communication activities, such as:

  • Develop creative content for the EucA Social Media Channels and craft the EucA voice online;

  • Monitor and identify Social Media trends and topics in the EucA areas of interests (Education, youth, EU, etc.) 

  • Track Social Media performances, collect and analyze the analytics; 

  • Develop proposals and realize digital marketing campaigns;

  • Create new graphics, layout documents or publications, videos and designs to support the EucA visual presence;

EucA is looking for a Social Media Assistant with excellent design and graphics skills to join our Communication Team. In this role you will create engaging content for the Associations Social Media presence, including keeping social media channels updated and brand-focused, and seeking out new social media avenues and ways of connecting with our target audiences. TASKS​​
