Traineeship and internship vacancies for students and recent graduates

to experience the EU Bubble and its great international atmosphere!

EucA acts as a springboard for young people who want to pursue international careers or are keen on education or youth policies. Recent graduates or students from our network are invited to join us for an immersive international experience! 

Either in person or online, we propose both traineeships (for graduates or students about to graduate) and internships (for students still enrolled in their university) in two of our lines of work: Projects and Communication.

You will work for a European Association in the field of Education and will have a taste of international work. From our side, we expect to have a proactive, resourceful and hard-working colleague to help us offer great initiatives and activities to students and student affairs professionals!

Existing opportunities:

 

Learn and experience all about the international work of a European NGO in the field of Education! Follow the work of EU institutions, network with peer education associations, manage our contacts with our members and students from all over Europe, assist in writing project proposals and managing EU projects, and of course participate and organise new learning experiences for students or student affairs professionals! 

TASKS

  • organise from start to finish career services or citizenship events for students;

  • assist in organising professional development initiatives for student affairs professionals (marketing, prepare event and post-event materials);

  • assist in managing EU projects on soft skills development, career services, residence life or student affairs (desk research, dissemination, administrative support and project management); 

  • assist in writing EU projects proposals; 

  • monitor youth and education policies, attend and report on meetings from EU institutions or other stakeholders.

CANDIDATES' PROFILE

  1. graduates part of EucA’s member network;

  2. fluency in English for oral and written interactions (min. C1 English);

  3. proven interest in EU affairs, active citizenship, soft skills learning or student affairs;

  4. keen interest in thorough fact-finding and very good writing skills for preparing reports, articles, new initiatives or EU project proposals;

  5. ability to take on and fulfil responsibilities assigned, both in coordination with colleagues, but also delivering results or propose solutions autonomously to get the job done;

  6. walk the extra mile: a general can do attitude and willingness to go beyond what is stated or expected;

  7. good organisational skills: mainly time management, being detail oriented, and ability to oversee or juggle multiple projects at the same time.

SUMMARY TERMS & CONDITIONS

  • Position: Project Officer

  • Reports to: Secretary-General 

  • Capacity: Full-time (38hrs/week) 

  • Location: Online

  • Duration: 2 months with a possibility of renewal to full time position in Brussels (6-12 months)

  • Reimbursement: 250EUR (online), 1.000EUR (in person, once confirmed)

The EucA Communications team is looking for an online intern to work closely with the Communications Director to implement the corporate and projects-related communications. 

TASKS​​

  • creation of digital visual contents;

  • management and maintenance of the webpage;

  • development of online marketing campaigns on Social Media;

  • communications and dissemination of EU projects; 

  • organisation and participation of online events; 

  • external and internal general communications.

CANDIDATES' PROFILE

  1. students part of EucA’s member network; 

  2. proficiency in English for oral and written interactions (min. C1 English);

  3. excellent written and spoken Communications Skills;

  4. familiarity with websites and Social Media management;

  5. knowledge of Photo and Video Editor tools;

  6. advanced digital, visual and graphic design skills;

  7. knowledge of email marketing services; 

  8. ability to learn fast and deliver results;

  9. organisational skills: time management and being detail oriented;

  10. good team spirit.

 

Creativity and resilience are very welcome! Expertise on Google Analytics, experience with Social Media and in organising digital events using different platforms will be considered as an asset.
