Administration & Projects Assistant

EucA is seeking a proficient Administration & Projects Assistant to support EucA in its administrative and operational efforts, together with the Operations Coordinator. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated young professional who is passionate about financial management, European affairs, and event organizing.

Key responsabilities:

The main tasks and responsibilities of an Administration and Projects Assistant will include:

Assistance with administration (ca. 60% of workload)

Maintaining accounting records and reconciling bank accounts;
Supporting the financial management of the organization;
Assist in team and partner meetings - send calendar invites, prepare agendas or presentations, take minutes/actions, keep track of progress, and follow up;
Manage invoices and payments, etc..

Assistance with project management (ca. 40% of workload)

Take part in the organization of both international and local events;
Assist with project financial management, including budgeting, monitoring, and reporting

Profile:

Bachelor's student or a recent graduate in Economics, Administration, Management, Finance, or related fields;
Proficiency in English for oral and written interactions (min. B2 English);
Knowledge of Excel;
Strong organizational and time management skills;
Detail-oriented, proactivity, good team spirit.

What we offer:

A monthly reimbursement via scholarship - Scholarship. Suggestions:
- For Spanish candidates: PICE grant of the Spanish Chamber of Commerce (please check conditions to see if you qualify)
- For other candidates: Erasmus+ Traineeship or others
Experience in a European non-profit organization with a broad network of partners
A collaborative, international, and mission-driven work environment
Flexible working conditions and a chance to contribute meaningfully to youth-focused initiatives

Capacity:

Full-time (38hrs/week)

Location:

Brussels, Belgium (remote candidates are not accepted)

Duration:

3 months trial period, with a possibility of renewal of 6-12 months

The intern's goal will be to support EucA in the organizational and management tasks of European Projects. Key responsabilities:

The main tasks and responsibilities as a Project Assistant will include:

Experienced in event management;
Proficiency in English for oral and written interactions (min. C1 English);
Walks the extra mile: a general can-do attitude, taking initiative, and willing to go beyond what is stated or expected;
Proven interest in EU affairs, active citizenship, or soft skills learning;
Keen interest in thorough fact-finding and very good writing skills for preparing reports, articles, new initiatives, or EU project proposals;
Ability to take on and fulfill responsibilities assigned, both in coordination with colleagues, but also delivering results or proposing solutions autonomously to get the job done;
Good organizational skills: mainly time management, detail-oriented, and the ability to oversee or juggle multiple projects simultaneously.
