Last week, Frankfurt became the stage for EucA’s latest Finance Study Visit. The experience brought together multiple university students from diverse backgrounds, sharing one common passion: their interest in the intersection of economics, international relations, and finance.

From 1 to 3 October 2025, the future FinLeaders made the most of a dynamic three-day experience. Filled with institutional visits, workshops, networking opportunities, and enriching discussions, the visit offered the young participants a unique immersion into the vibrant financial capital.

“The most valuable aspect for me was the opportunity to learn more about the institution and to meet such a diverse and motivated group of people. I especially appreciated learning about the members’ educational paths and having the chance to exchange ideas and reflections about the future.” M.B., Italy

Highlights included visits to the European Central Bank (ECB) and the German Bundesbank, two powerful and influential institutions. The experience also provided participants with firsthand insights into monetary policy and its crucial role in shaping the global and European economic landscape.

“The study visit allowed me to gain a deeper, hands-on understanding of financial concepts I had previously learned in theory, by observing how they are applied in practice. Moreover, the presentations were clear and engaging!” F.M., Italy

Beyond finance, students immersed themselves in Germany’s rich history and modern influence, exploring how its culture, innovation, and creativity continue to shape Europe and the wider world. Visits to the Städel Museum and the Money Museum deepened their curiosity about both German and European heritage.

By the end of the journey, students bridged theory with practice, seeing firsthand how policy translates into real-world impact. The experience left them inspired and better equipped to tackle the financial challenges of the future.
