In response to the current context of the viral COVID-19 Coronavirus outbreaks, many organizations and institutions are adopting preventive measures such as cancellation of events and programs or limiting access to their premises.
Since the current situation constitutes a threat to public health, to ensure the safety of everyone involved, EucA is taking some precautionary measures. For now, all of the events scheduled until May are cancelled/postponed, being the list the following:
Citizenship Study Visit in Brussels, scheduled for 17-19 March. Cancelled
Citizenship Study Visit in Brussels, scheduled for 23-25 March. Cancelled.
Ticino Fashion Valley in Switzerland, scheduled for 15-18 April. Postponed.
European Housing and Residence Life Symposium in Brussels, scheduled for 27-29 April. Postponed. New dates will come soon.
European Youth Event 2020 in France, scheduled for 28-30 May. Postponed. New dates will come soon.
Employability Study Visit in Boston, scheduled for 2021. Postponed for summer 2021.
The rest of the events remain scheduled as planned until further notice. With this regard, applications will continue to be reviewed in the coming days. However, since we understand there might be some uncertainty on applying and participating in EucA events in the coming months, we are encouraging participants who are making travel arrangements to include insurance schemes that protect from cancellations.
Please consider that the situation is evolving rapidly and at the moment we are not able to foresee changes. We will continue keeping you informed on the website and our Social Media channels.
For more specific information on single events, you will be contacted personally by the staff. Should you have any concerns or questions, please contact Mirela Mazalu at m.mazalu@euca.eu.
Thank you for your understanding.
