EucA's Employability Study Visit, hosted in Dublin from 26 to 28 March, brought together selected university students from Fondazione Rui to enjoy a three-day international learning experience focused on career development, employability skills, and intercultural exchange.

Designed to prepare young people for the global labor market, the program offered direct exposure to leading multinational companies, including IBM - introduced by Andrew Marsh, Adam Byrne, Jasmina Gajcin, and Daniele Lotito - and Stripe - whose session was hosted by Alessandra Mazzocchi

A special highlight was the inspiring lecture “Dreaming big about your future: the virtue of courage” delivered by Marta Rocchi, lecturer at Dublin City University Business School, and hosted at Rathmore Residence. Her words motivated participants to reflect on confidence, decision-making, and personal growth in their career journeys.

The program included employability-focused training sessions led by EucA trainers and local professionals, covering key topics such as career readiness, digital skills, and personal branding.

Participants also engaged in networking sessions with Dublin-based professionals and young talents, creating opportunities to exchange experiences, build connections, and explore future career possibilities.

Beyond professional development, the study visit offered a rich cultural immersion experience. Participants explored Ireland’s heritage, historical landmarks, and vibrant urban life, experiencing Dublin as a city where tradition and modernity coexist uniquely and dynamically.

By the end of the visit, the participants:

  • Discovered different, alternative work environments that challenged their preconceptions about the tech field.

  • Opened their minds to the enriching possibilities of working internationally.

  • Critically evaluated labour market trends through direct interaction with professionals.

  • Demonstrates adaptability and intercultural awareness in diverse professional contexts.

Once again, the program provided an ideal environment for both personal and professional growth, leaving students with lasting insights, connections, and perspectives on their future careers.
