Scholarship Program

Luca Demontis (1988 - 2024) was a passionate student affairs professional in higher education. He served as the Head of Education at Fondazione Collegio San Carlo in Modena, supporting university students to achieve the best in their careers. 

His passion for supporting young people was unmeasurable. One of the pioneers of student affairs in Europe, he is missed by his colleagues, family, and friends.

In his name, EucA funds the Luca Demontis Scholarship Program. A project honoring Luca’s life’s by empowering the next generation of student affairs leaders to pursue excellence, innovation, and service ​

What it supports

The Luca Demontis Scholarship Program is aimed at young student affairs professionals from developing countries and underrepresented groups

Covering full or partial expenses to attend international professional development events, removing barriers to accessing world-class opportunities.

Selection criteria

  • Professional experience: Entry-level careers (2-5 years)

  • Country’s living costs: Professionals from developing countries who wish to attend European professional development events and initiatives.

  • Personal economy: Candidates must provide financial information.

  • Social Group: Special consideration for those from vulnerable groups.
