What does the traineeship offer?

As a trainee, you will learn all about the world of a European NGO: follow the work of the European Commission and Parliament, network with peer education associations, manage our contacts with our membership and students from all over Europe, assist in writing project proposals and manage EU projects, and of course, participate and organise events.

The traineeship is a full-time position in Brussels with 1.000,00 EUR/month as remuneration (the first month is the trial period). Candidates who are willing to start sooner will be given priority.

(marketing, prepare event and post-event materials);

• networking in EU institutions, education stakeholders and think tanks;

Candidates’ profile:

  • fluency in English for oral and written interactions (min. C1 English);

  • organizational skills: ability to multitask, to be detail-oriented, and to lead and execute projects from conception to tracking results; ability to work independently when assigned a project;

  • excellent writing skills, especially to create online content (website and social media);

  • ability to take initiative to advance the work of the association;

There is no deadline to apply, as this traineeship is open until the vacancy is filled out.

Please note that:

  • only candidates that are from EucA members are eligible, so please state clearly from which Hall of Residence you come from at the top of your CV. Failure to do so will disqualify you automatically and we will not review your application.

  • documentation that is not immediately accessible (video links not working, .doc files with formatting issues, additional login requirements or any other mishap) will result in the automatic disqualification of the application and we won’t reach out to ask for the correct files.

  • we don’t review English certificates, as your language level will be assessed from your experiences and documents presented (so please do not attach them).

EucA is proud to have partnered with the Spanish Chamber of Commerce as part of the Youth Guarantee framework to offer a paid traineeship in its Brussels office.

Please review the conditions to apply here.

If you are pursuing your universities studies, you are residing in one of our member Halls of Residence and you are looking for a place where you can have a first professional experience, you are in the right place: EucA opens the doors of its Brussels office!

Our internship program mirrors our traineeship one (so please review tasks, profile and application process mentioned above), but on a different scale: a duration of minimum 160 hours, a selection process more lenient on the skills required and unfortunately no remuneration (per Belgian law, internships that are part of university coursework cannot be paid). We offer a 200€ per month as reimbursement for transport and meal expenses. The duration of the internship can be agreed on case by case.

There is no deadline to apply, the process is open until the vacancies are filled out.
