The Fashion Valley in Canton Ticino, Switzerland, is the dreamland for every student and fashion-enthusiast who wants to start a career in the near future in Fashion and Luxury, a field that offers a broad range of job opportunities.
Organised in collaboration with Franklin University Switzerland the next EucA Employability Study Visit will allow 20 students to visit some of the world's most renowned companies, like Hugo Boss, Bally, Guess and VF Corporation, owner of brands such as Vans, Timberland or The North Face!
The Employability Study Visit will take place in Lugano, Switzerland. The date still needs to be decided.
WHAT IS A STUDY VISIT?
A Study Visit is the best opportunity you can have to know the business world inside out, to have fun and to travel abroad!
Meet the HR managers and learn about the selection process, the ideal candidate profile they look for or the current open positions, among others!
Develop your soft skills, taking part in workshops about interview skills, having fun with resumes speed dating and social media challenges.
During your free time, go sightseeing and enjoy the beautiful landscapes of Lugano Lake, the Alps and meet people from all over Europe making new friendships that will last for a lifetime!

PRACTICAL INFORMATION
The Ticino Fashion Valley consists of visits to fashion and luxury companies facilities, meeting with people from the HR department to learn more about the talent acquisition process and corporate culture. A visit to Hugo Boss, Bally, Guess and VF Corporation, owner of brands such as Vans, Timberland or The North Face will take place during the week.
The group will be composed of 20 selected participants selected on a rolling basis.
EucA will pay accommodation for 3 nights, some meals and the organisation.
The accommodation will be at Franklin University Switzerland Campus.
You will pay for your transportation to/from Ticino and for the rest of the meals.
A certificate of attendance will be given to the participants at the end of the Study Visit.

EucA experts will carefully assess your CV and will contact you at the end of March to set a personal 20 minutes session on Skype to learn more about: the common mistakes when redacting a CV, how to improve your CV and presentation, best possible CV formats and how to build correctly a resume letter.
HOW TO APPLY - APPLICATIONS WILL BE OPENED SOON
If you wish to apply you will have to fill a Google form (to be published) including your CV and a short 30s video introducing yourself and your motivation to participate on the Study Tour.
Students from all study areas and who are from EucA members and partners can apply.
