Mission

Create an international network among university halls of residence, to promote cultural exchange and experience between European students and consequently encourage the active citizenship which resides into every youngster. This is the main aim of EUCA that works through Europe to spread the excellence of the university halls of residence, availing itself in this purpose of events strictly connected to the academic and professional universe.

High level education, provided by well organized structures which pay attention on merit, pushes besides its roots deep into our Continent’s history. It is EUCA’s intent to improve this specificity making it the driving force for the students living in the colleges and for many others who, keeping company with them will return like benefits. 

EUCA therefore owns among its statutory aims:

• increase the dialogue and the connections between the university halls of residence existing in Europe and promote the collegial model in cooperation with the European Union; 
• promote the  image of the halls among the institutions and increase the connections between colleges and universities;
• realize international promoting projects for the European education system;
• increase exchanges between students and professional educationists; 
• organize congresses and events for university, academicians and professionals on European relevant themes; 
• encourage through the students an active citizenship in order to promote intercultural dialogue.

Finally, the primary objective of all colleges which have joined EUCA is to promote the internationalization of the university system as stated in the Bologna Agreement and to build within 2010 a common European higher learning space.
