The Hague Congress during the EucA Cambridge Summer School 2016
During the EucA Cambridge Summer School 2016, we challenged the students to reenact the Hague Congress (1948). There, civil society representatives, politicians, entrepreneurs, philosophers, common citizens discussed and shaped the path followed by the European integration until now.
The many crises afflicting our continent require a new vision for the future of Europe. For this reason, we asked our students to amend and integrate the original documents of the Congress to come up with their proposals for the future of Europe.
A shorter version has been presented using the pechakucha format to Mr. Riccardo Ribera d’Alcalá, Director-General of the Directorate General for Internal Policies of the Union at the European Parliament.
Their work can be downloaded below.
We would like to thank the authors: the participants to the EucA Cambridge Summer School 2016 edition.
