NASPA is the the Student Affairs Administrators in Higher Education Association.  The core of NASPA’s mission is to provide professional development for student affairs educators and administrators who share the responsibility for a campus wide focus on the student experience. 2017 NASPA Multicultural Institute: Advancing Equity and Inclusive Practice

The NASPA Multicultural Institute is intentionally designed for student affairs practitioners and administrators to further expand their own awareness, further develop skills as a multicultural educators, and exchange best practices for supporting historically underrepresented and marginalized college student populations. Publications

NASPA publishes books, periodicals, and other media to inform student affairs professionals and assist them in their daily work to support student learning and success. EucA took part in the Publication “Supporting Students Globally in Higher Education- Trends and Perspectives for Student Affairs and Services” (Osfield K. J., Perozzi B., Bardill Moscaritolo L., Shea R. (eds.), NASPA, Washington DC 2016) (More info here).


A notable Publication, is the book “Engagement and Employability, integrating Career Learning through Co-curricular experiences In Postsecondary Education” (Adam Peck Editor). This comprehensive publication provides a discussion and numerous examples of how to identify, measure, and assess employability skills as an outcome of co-curricular experiences. It focuses on the top skills employers seek when hiring recent college graduates.


Careers in Student Affairs: a holistic guide to professional development in Higher Education” (PEGGY C. HOLZWEISS AND KELLI PECK PARROTT, EDITORs) provides a comprehensive look at being a higher education administrator. Integrating perspectives from both research and practical application, this reader-friendly book addresses contemporary issues in the higher education environment that are not typically covered in the graduate curriculum but that employers expect student affairs professionals to be prepared for from their first position and beyond.
