From "Study Success to Student Success" event in Rome, November 24-25. Registrations are now open!
The Student Affairs profession in Europe is doing an excellent job in changing lives everyday. For these professionals, a student’s objective should not be only academic success, but student success (engagement in educationally purposeful activities, satisfaction, acquisition of desired knowledge, skills, competences, persistence and attainment of educational goals).
University Colleges and Halls of Residence from the EucA network are proud to be part of this profession and to contribute to its development in Europe combining their own tradition and practices with the inputs coming from leading associations and networks of student affairs from across the world.
Thanks to the additional educational programmes, services, employability skills, and mobility schemes offered by EucA Halls, the positive impact on the learning outcomes for students is significative (for example, in Italy 89% of Halls alumni are employed after maximum a year from graduation).
For this reason EucA is proud to organise an event that can help European higher educational professionals advance in their career. Not only the theoretical framework of the most recent and effective student affairs practices will be discussed, but also hands-on activities will be offered by practitioners with years of experience in the best USA universities. The topics on the agenda: first year activities, retention and assessment models that will help Halls directors support their students' success.
